Anita Briem was born in Iceland. She is most well-known as the actress who was Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem, who began her acting journey at nine years old at Iceland's National Theater, is best famous for her portrayal of Jane Seymour. As a youngster, she was involved in numerous radio and television productions, shows and other productions in Iceland. Briem was then 16 years old when she moved to London and took part in an production called Lenin In Love in the New End Theater. Briem was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for three years, gaining the diploma of Drama. While studying at RADA he participated in numerous plays, including The Cherry Garden by Anton Chekhov and the Bernarda Alba's House written by Federico Garcia Lorca .
